Regional Development Director - Texas

Proverbs 31 Ministries seeks a Regional Development Director for an exempt, full-time position that will report to the Executive Director of Donor Development in Matthews, NC.

Responsibilities for the position include:

  • Developing and implementing fundraising activities for a portfolio of major and planned giving donors and prospects within the Texas/Western region of the United States
  • Representing all program areas of Proverbs 31 Ministries
  • Effectively stewarding high capacity relationships and developing new, long-term relationships that align donors’ desires and abilities with God’s mission through Proverbs 31 Ministries
  • Maintaining an active schedule of personal visits and other methods of communication within a portfolio management strategy that engages donors with opportunities for significant and meaningful partnership with the ministry
  • Independently generating, with oversight supervision, ideas to enhance major donor interest in gifts to the Ministry
  • Representing the institution to key members of the Texas regional community in a positive and impactful way

Qualifications include:

  • A personal devotion to Jesus Christ and a desire to promote the mission of Proverbs 31
  • A Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of successful fundraising and/or high level sales experience – a Master’s degree and/or CFRE credentials preferred
  • Fundraising experience that includes demonstrated success with annual fund and major gift solicitations
  • Knowledge of the local community and not-for-profit sector
  • The ability to independently develop and implement strategies and sustain long-term donor relationships
  • The ability to work from home and travel regionally, nationally and internationally as needed
  • Experience with a wide variety of fundraising concepts
  • Attention to detail and the accuracy of data
  • Proficiency with all Microsoft Office Suite programs and a basic understanding of Blackbaud’s Raiser’s Edge database
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills

Demands/Environment:

  • Long periods of time working at a computer may be required.
  • Car and air travel may be frequent as cultivation events are planned.
  • Must be able to communicate with donors and prospects by phone and mail to determine funding guidelines and the most effective process to secure new or renewed funding.
  • Weekend and/or irregular hours during campaign seasons may be required.
  • Professional attire is essential.

Digital Analyst

Proverbs 31 Ministries seeks a Digital Analyst for a full-time, non-exempt position. The ideal candidate for the position will have experience implementing content strategy with a focus on format, distribution, and analysis that leverages content and expands and engages audiences. Experience using marketing automation systems such as InfusionSoft, HubSpot, or MailChimp is preferred, and to perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of HTML and CSS.

Responsibilities for the position include:

  • Collaborate with marketing team to plan and launch innovative cross-channel campaigns.
  • Utilize InfusionSoft and HubSpot to manage and execute marketing and communication campaigns.
  • Execute ongoing A/B testing to maximize conversion rates and other key metrics.
  • Structure and implement marketing tests to drive optimization (e.g., test creative, copy, audience segments, etc.).
  • Work with product management and development to create a centralized storage of data, insights, and hypotheses.
  • Analyze CRM data to evaluate and monitor lead quality.
  • Compile performance reports and dashboards for engagement activities.
  • Create insightful reports to analyze effectiveness of email campaigns and identify ways to improve efficiency and effectiveness of email marketing efforts.
  • Manage and maximize the Shopify platform and customer experience

Qualifications include:

  • An understanding and a commitment to the mission of Proverbs 31 Ministries
  • Relevant training, experience and educational credentials are preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in email marketing with demonstrated success in creating and executing effective email campaigns
  • A strong analytical mindset  (Numbers make sense to you, and your communication skills allow you to articulate the data points to the team.)
  • A strong business sense (You understand why digital marketing is important and how it fits into the organization, and you are able to turn this into strategic thinking and decision making.)
  • A Google analytics expert  (You simply can’t wait to get in there to see how your campaigns are performing.)
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple projects and to organize and prioritize different goals and objectives
  • Proven experience in A/B and multivariate test design, execution and analysis
  • Excellent communication and creative thinking skills and a desire to test, learn and iterate
  • Ability to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations
  • Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables

Creative Department Coordinator

If so, we’ve got good news! Proverbs 31 Ministries is growing, and we want to hire a Creative Department Coordinator to help us manage various marketing projects and design requests. At least 2 years of experience in project management or a similar field is required, and a 4-year degree in a creative field (communication or marketing) would set you apart in the application process.

Job Description Overview:

The full-time, non-exempt Creative Department Coordinator position will report to the Creative Department Manager. The primary responsibilities for the role include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day Basecamp process for many of our annual inbound marketing campaigns
  • Coordinating creative requests (conference notebook, website redesign, promotions and ballroom set-up) for our annual She Speaks conference
  • Managing the following design requests from various departments:
    • Donor – quarterly newsletters, print needs, grant proposals
    • Products – holiday, book ancillary, etc.
    • Compel – monthly graphics requests and other small items Proverbs 31 website updates
  • Archiving all graphics/promotions/campaigns and transferring them to the Proverbs 31 server
  • Ensuring that the creative team’s workload is managed well

Job Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a creative field (preferred)
  • 2 years of proven project management experience

Skills:
