Hello and Welcome to the 23rd Online Bible Study (OBS) here at Proverbs 31 Ministries! I’m Melissa Taylor and I get to lead things around here … with A LOT of help!
The P31 OBS Team and I are so glad you decided to sign up for The Mended Heart: God’s Healing for Your Broken Places by Suzanne Eller. Of course around here, “Suzanne Eller” is not only the author of the book we are reading, but she’s also our friend, so we’ll call her Suzie. We’ll also be calling this YOUR online Bible study, because that’s what it is.
Over the next week, I’ll send more information that will hopefully get you excited about this Bible study. If you’re someone who considers yourself hurt, broken, confused, insecure, hopeless or just downright unsure if you can live a full life, you are going to love this study!
God didn’t intend for our past choices, our circumstances, our relationships, loss, tragedy, mean words or actions of others, or anything else to determine if healing and wholeness were meant for us. Through Jesus, we are healed; Isaiah 53:5 says so.
But maybe you don’t quite feel that’s true.
Maybe you have trouble believing this or have a hard time living that way even though you do believe that. Life can be hard and difficult to move on sometimes. Let’s acknowledge that first thing. Let’s also acknowledge that we want better and we don’t want to settle. Let’s do The Mended Heart OBS and discover God’s healing for us.

And one more thing before I go~
Did you know P31OBS has small groups that meet on Facebook during the study? We do, but space is very limited.
If you’re interested in joining a Facebook Small Group for The Mended Heart, click here and fill out this form. Each group is led by a Proverbs 31 Ministries-trained leader and is set up for community, discussion and sharing. All small groups are private and designed to keep them small.
Can’t wait to begin this study with you!
