Thirsty?

Thirsty?

Play

At my last check up with my doctor, she told me that I was dehydrated.

After my appointment, I learned something really interesting. Did you know that thirst is actually a late symptom of dehydration? Most of us miss the earlier symptoms like a decrease in tears, dry mouth and exhaustion. In all kinds of ways our bodies are trying to tell us that we need more water.

I think our spiritual bodies can get dehydrated too. Do you have a decrease in tears over sin? Maybe your feeling exhausted. Is your mouth too dry for praise to pour out?

Let’s not miss the ways our soul is trying to tell us we are thirsty. Maybe we are spiritually dehydrated, and we need a drink from the Living Water that only Jesus can provide.
