The God of the Impossible

Are you facing an impossible situation?

I love the Old Testament story of the Israelites taking possession of the land of Jericho. God commanded Joshua and his army to march around the seemingly insurmountable walls surrounding Jericho for seven days straight. And it wasn’t until the seventh day that God brought the walls down.

Now let me ask you a question. What if they'd stopped after day two? Or day three? Or even day six?

They would have cheated themselves out of victory.

I know it's hard to keep obeying God when our situation looks hopeless. But let’s not stop short of our victory with God. He is working things out even if we can’t see how the walls in front of us will fall.
