Don’t you just love that we serve a God who is a Promise-Maker?
But sometimes, our lives don’t look as promising as we’d like, right? Things we hoped for or wanted don’t materialize. I wonder why God isn’t doing what I thought He would. When this happens, does your faith start to falter? Mine sometimes does.
It’s in those times that I’m reminded our faith isn’t in the promises of God, but the God of the promise. That’s important not because His promises ever fail, but because God fulfills His promises in ways we’ll never see here on earth. Until then, we put our faith in the Promise-Maker; not the promises He makes.
We’d love to help you fall more in love with God by studying His Word. You can download our FREE app First 5, and spend your first moments of each day with God.
