Carrying God’s Glory Into the Ordinary

“‘Go,’ [Jesus] told him, ‘wash in the Pool of Siloam’ (this word means ‘Sent’). So the man went and washed, and came home seeing.” John 9:7 (NIV)
“but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:14 (ESV)
“The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” Psalm 34:18 (ESV)
Lord, when fear overwhelms me, remind me that You are right here with me. Thank You for never leaving me even when I feel invisible or alone. Help me to be strong and courageous — not in my own strength but in Yours. Fill me with Your peace that calms every anxious thought. I trust You to guide me, hold me, and carry me through. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

“… my body wasted away … My strength evaporated like water in the summer heat.” Psalm 32:3-4 (NLT)
“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 (ESV)
“Then he said to Thomas, ‘Put your finger here and look at my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Don’t be faithless, but believe.’” John 20:27 (CSB)

Still my spiraling thoughts with the truth of Your presence. Remind me peace doesn’t come from a perfect plan but from trusting You in the middle of the storm. You are not just the God who helps me get through the day — You are the One who carries me in it. I rest in You today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
