Hello, and welcome to your Week 2 midweek check-in, friends!
On page 44 of Breathe, we learned that Sabbath, for the Israelites, was meant to serve as a reminder they were no longer slaves — that they now had the option to choose rest, a luxury never afforded them in Egypt. In other words, God wanted His people to remember they were FREE.
While we may not be physically enslaved as the Israelites once were, we, too, need to be reminded of that freedom — the freedom to STOP and just BE. And in order to exercise that freedom, we have to learn to say no.
Melissa, Kendra, Jessica and Wendy are back today via video with some thoughts to share on this very idea, including why intentionality is a MUST if we want to walk in the freedom God offers. Check it out!

That is GOOD STUFF, y'all. And what Melissa said about enough being ENOUGH? Boy, did that resonate with me, too! We'll read more about that in the book tomorrow. Then I'll be back to finish out our week with my own "Enough is enough" Freedom Friday story, along with an important lesson I learned in the process. Hope you'll join me!
In the meantime, though, I'll see you down in the comments. Have an awesome day!
What's one activity or one thing you are going to say no to this week? (from today's video)
