Do you ever read something, and you’re just like, “MAN, that was good”? That was me today (Day 4 in Fighting Words) as I read about Jesus fighting back against the lies of the enemy by saying, “It is written ...” followed by the truth of Scripture.

And then I got down into the questions …

This is where Ellie challenges us to make a list of some of the lies we tend to believe about ourselves and God, then make an “It Is Written” list of our own, with a truth of Scripture to cover each lie we’ve been believing.

THIS. WAS. SO. GOOD!

SO much so that I wanted to bring it here to see what kind of an “It Is Written” list we can make together!

I’ll go first:

LIE: God doesn’t have a plan for me.

TRUTH: It is written, “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago”  (Ephesians 2:10, NLT).
