It’s Day 7, which means we are now one full week in to Fighting Words by Ellie Holcomb and one full week in to memorizing our very first passage of Scripture.
So how did it go for you over the weekend? Were you able to keep up in the book? Did you practice your fighting words? Whether you did or you didn’t, let’s practice them together right now!
See if you can fill in the blanks:
“_________ in the Lord always. I will say it again: _________! Let your _________ be evident to all. The Lord is near. Don’t worry about _________, but in _________, through _________ and _________ with _________, present your requests to God. And the _________ of God, which surpasses all _________, will guard your _________ and _________ in Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:4-7, CSB)
Do you know all the missing words? If you need a little help, you can find the passage in its entirety right here.
Whatever you do, just don’t give up. Every bit of this journey matters, and so do you!
I’ll see you back on Day 10 (Thursday, June 9) to wrap up Round 1.
Here’s your chance to show us what you know! Type out the words of Philippians 4:4-7 (CSB) the best you can in the comments; then be sure to cheer on a fellow participant or two!
