The New Is Here!

July 10, 2022
Round 5 Verse

Happy Sunday, and welcome to Round 5! After these next 10 days together, we’ll officially be at the halfway point of our study, which is important for two reasons:

  1. You’ve been with us long enough to notice (hopefully) a difference in your life from memorizing and putting into practice these fighting words of ours.
  2. And now that you know how it all works, I bet there’s a friend or two you can think of who would benefit from jumping in with us for the second half. Who can you invite to join you? Share the Day 41 devotional with her, and then send her this link so she can get signed up and get ready to begin with us next round!

Considering how far we’ve come, I can’t help but think how fitting our Round 5 fighting words really are:

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”  (2 Corinthians 5:17, NIV)

YOU, my friend, are a new creation in Christ! (And so am I! Thank You, Jesus!) Here is a lock screen to help you remember this beautiful truth.

It doesn’t stop there, though! As we keep moving forward, He will continue to renew us and restore us day by day as we connect with Him through prayer and His Word.

Now, five rounds in, you may be starting to wonder how to keep holding on to our earlier memory verses. Laura Meiser is here today with a tip or two that will help. Give it a watch!

So Round 5 — are you ready? Let’s do this!

I’ll see you back on Wednesday, July 13!

Stacy

Fighting Back!

So far in this study, God has renewed my understanding of Scripture and how His Word really does fight for me. What has God made new in YOU?
