Can you believe we are just a couple days away from completing 10 rounds of Fighting Words? I’m having a difficult time believing it, too, but here we are.

How would you describe the season of life you’re in right now? Would you describe it like a smoothly paved path? Or is it more like a steep hike where every step has you teetering on the edge of sliding down a mountainside? I would describe mine as walking on something resembling rolling hills with a few ups and downs.

Have you ever noticed that no matter what the path is like, you still have times where you begin to slip and fall? Ellie shares with us in today’s devotion (Day 98) what these times feel like, and I resonate with her thoughts so deeply.

In those times where I’m feeling myself fall, I’m so tempted to quickly move past any pain I’m feeling, so I love the questions Ellie has for us today because I feel invited to slow down and not rush past what’s happening or what I need to remember.
