Hi there! Welcome back for Week 2!
Truth time: How many things are open on your device right now? What else is going on around you? Is your life as hectic and cluttered as mine?
Think about how special it might be if we were meeting face to face, where we could sit together and encourage each other as we start taking steps to rise above our doubt.
Though we may not be face to face, we can still cheer each other on right here in this community. Are you with me?
We saw last week that Noah made the decision to walk with God. This week, we’ll see that he decided to listen to what God said.
Listening to God can be hard and complicated. I don't hear an audible voice when He speaks to me, so how can I know for sure I "hear" Him? I know God speaks, but sometimes I doubt that He speaks to me. I get frustrated because I let so many things interfere with the time I want to spend with Him, listening for Him to speak.
In our Verse of the Week, the Apostle Paul addresses hearing God speak.
“So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” (Romans 10:17, ESV)
The Word of God is a faith builder! The more you hear it and the more time you spend in it, the more encouraged you become. God is always speaking. Let’s lean in from the noise of the world and make Decision 2: Listen to God and hear what He has to say.
