Are you ready for our weekly recap? Let’s review a few highlights from the week to remind us how conquering loneliness will help us to love life again!
Topic Summary: Conquering Loneliness
This week, we’ve acknowledged the fact there will be times we find ourselves in a state of loneliness. However, it’s not a place we have to stay. It’s a choice that sometimes takes action on our part. We can lean in close to God during these times, strengthening our relationship with Him. We can also be intentional about praying for Him to open our eyes and hearts to people around us to befriend. When we choose to step out in faith, directing our focus on God instead of self, our perspective changes and brings us one step closer to loving life again.
Verse of the Week:
“A sweet friendship refreshes the soul.” Proverbs 27:9b (MSG)
Guess what? We’ve already memorized half our verse! If you’re like me and memorizing is not your strength, here’s a tip that’s helped me. I keep two notes in the note section on my phone. One has the verse typed out in its entirety and the other has the missing blanks. This makes it easy to practice wherever I am — sitting in a waiting room, drinking a cup of coffee or before I go to bed. So if you need some extra practice, maybe give that a try. But wherever you are with your memorization, keep going! We can do this!
“I came so they can have real and eternal life, ______ ____ _____ _____ _____ _____ ______ ___________ ___.” - ______ __:__ (___)
