Turning Our Complaining Into Praising {Week 4 Recap}

October 8, 2019
“It’s never too late to start living differently." - Tracie Miles #lovelifeagainbook | Proverbs 31 Online Bible Studies Week 4 #P31OBS

Hello!

It’s time for our recap. Let’s review a few highlights from the week to remind us how more laughing and praising can help us to love life again!

Topic Summary: Laughing and Praising
This week, we learned we have a choice in how we live our lives when circumstances aren’t optimum. Loving our lives again means we need to be intentional about where we place our focus. Placing our faith and trust in God allows us to live the abundant life (John 10:10). Our joy will be evident as we walk out our trials because the burden has been lifted from our shoulders and placed where it belongs – with God. When we trust He’s got everything under control, this allows us to laugh and smile more and turn our complaining into praising. Now that’s a life worth loving. Hallelujah!

Verse of the Week:

“A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.” Proverbs 17:22 NIV
Scripture Memorization:

There’s no trick to memorizing Scripture. It just takes time. It boggles my mind how I can still remember entire songs from the 80’s but have trouble memorizing a Bible verse. Do you know what I mean? So, remember to give yourself some grace if you still don’t have this memorized. It’s a process. You’ll get it ... I just know you will. So, let’s commit to memorizing this verse until we know it!

“I came so they can have real ____ _____ _____, ______ ____ _____ _____ _____ _____ ______ ___________ ___.” - ______ __:__ (___)

For Your Weekend:

Friend, this is not the time to give in to the temptation to quit! We’ve learned A LOT, but there’s still so much great stuff ahead! So grab the Week 5 section of the Week at a Glance, and start planning out your What, When and Where for next week!

WEEK AT A GLANCE

Have a joyful weekend!
