I can't believe we're finally here. Kickoff day! Eeek! Are you ready to mark today as the official beginning of your journey to better understanding God's seamless story? I sure hope so because today we're digging into Day 1 of our Seamless workbooks.
Day 1 is not only going to help set the foundation for how this study works, but if you've ever hesitated to study the Bible because it's only "written for experts" OR if you've gotten started before only to sputter out and quit, then Angie Smith's words today are going to encourage you!
Also, Angie has a short assessment for us to work through to help us recognize our stumbling blocks and hesitations about studying the Bible, so that with that knowledge, we can proclaim:
"It's going to be different this time."
As we get rolling, don't forget we have our Week at a Glance resource to help us make it "different this time," too. With it's week-by-week, day-by-day suggested study plan, it's easier to stay on track. Plus, you'll find a FREE download of the first week's book content in the Week 1 section, in case you don't have your book yet. Just click the button below, then either print your Week at a Glance or view it from your device as we go along.
WEEK AT A GLANCE
Note: If you've clicked on the button to download your Week at a Glance resource, but are having trouble accessing it on your phone or desktop, look in your downloads folder or at the bottom left-hand corner of your web page.
Alright, go ahead and grab your book, Bible and writing utensil(s) of choice. Today's section is only five pages long. Yep, you read that right, FIVE. Guys, we've so got this. And yes, it IS going to be different this time. Let's claim it and believe it.
Happy Day 1 digging! But before you go...
We'd Love to Know!
What's kept you from studying the Bible?
See you in the comment section and then back here on Wednesday for a midweek check-in!
P.S. In case you missed the Session 1 Seamless teaching video with Angie Smith (mentioned on page 11 in your Seamless book), you can still catch that video, through July 6, on our blog by clicking here.
