When Needing to Know to Wait or Go

July 11, 2018

And we're back!

Hello, friend! In today's Day 3 bookwork, we're heading "To The Promised Land." But before we hit the books, I have a question for you: Have you ever struggled with knowing when you should wait and when you should go?

If you're nodding your head yes with me, you don't want to miss today's check-in video! In it, Seamless author Angie Smith is pouring out her wisdom for us on this very topic. So let's grab our Bibles, turn to Exodus 14 and tune in...

Need closed captioning or want to view the transcript?

See? Definitely watch-worthy, right?

Did you catch when Angie said, "How quickly they forget"? I know she was referring to the Israelites forgetting what God had delivered them from. But, if I'm honest, I could easily be included in that "they" too. How about you?

Sigh. Yep. I know I'm more like the Israelites at times than I'd like to admit. But when we remember all God's delivered us from, it eases our doubt and strengthens our faith, making it easier to be still or move forward, whichever He may be calling us to. So, to help us with that right now...

Reflect and Respond:

Is there a place in your life you're sensing God saying, "Get moving!"? How can remembering all He's delivered you from help you move forward?
