Let the Husband Projects Begin

August 15, 2018

Anxious, somewhat hesitant and doubtful, but hopeful … this is how I felt stepping into the first week of projects.

Awakened, excited, encouraged and hope-FILLED ... THIS is how I felt after walking through the first week of projects with my study friends, with God, and for my husband!

Are you ready to step out of the old and into the new this week?! If we haven’t met yet, I’m Katrina Wylie, one of your study leaders for The Husband Project.

Last week, Melissa, Nicki and Nichole helped launch us into our study with all we need to prepare for our projects. And now it’s time to put our plans into practice! But up first — this week’s video.

Let’s tune in for some more fun and insightful tidbits from the P31 OBS Study Leaders crew and The Husband Project author, Kathi Lipp, to help us walk with wisdom this week!

I am oh so much in need of, and thankful for, this advice from today’s The Fab Wife session: “Keep our expectations low.”

Phew! I don’t know about you, but I can be an “expectations expert” … aka REALLY good at setting my expectations too high, only to find myself frustrated and disappointed in discovering, yet again, only Jesus is perfect … sigh. Thank you, Kathi! #LifeSaver

Another life saver for me has always been our Weekly Lowdown. When life gets crazy (and you know it’s going to), having this to glance at daily helps me to stay afloat! It’s where we can find our Verse of the Week, a study plan and additional resources, so don’t miss this FREE helper. Download, print and start using yours today below!

PLUS, let’s not forget the bonus gift we ALL receive when we spend time in reflection— connection with and wisdom from God! With Him we’ve got this, friend, so let’s get to it!

Reflect and Respond:

In today’s video, there were so many fantastic nuggets of wisdom to help in the planning and carrying out of our first seven projects. But one that seemed to stand out to us study leaders is to not be afraid to skip around the projects, choosing the seven that best fit your week and your guy. With that tip in mind:
  • Which projects are you choosing to do this week?
  • What’s one thing from the video you want to be sure to remember and implement
  • into your plan/projects?
