Hi Husband Project OBSer! I’m Melissa Taylor from Proverbs 31 Ministries, and I’m here to introduce what’s happening in Week 1 of our study!
Words cannot describe how excited we are to be doing this P31 OBS! Our first EVER study focused on wives! Thank you for investing in your marriage by signing up for this study! Of course, signing up is the easy part. Now it’s time to get to work!
Did I say work? The last thing we want this to feel like is work, but truth is, most things worth fighting for take a little work. But hey, we aim to make this work fun! Check out this video and meet your study leaders for this P31 OBS. Plus, we have some really good things to share with you that are both fun and helpful!
If you can’t view the video above, watch here on YouTube.

Didn’t I tell you? Fun and informative! Hopefully after watching that, you feel a little more at ease about doing this study! We’re all in this together!
We really want this to be as simple for you as possible. In an effort to provide you with support, resources, the Verse of the Week, a study plan and encouragement, we have what we call The Weekly Lowdown. This thing is amazing! I honestly don’t know what I did before we had this. Each week, I print three copies. I put one on my desk at home, one on my desk at work and one in my Bible. This little gem helps keep me on track and takes the thinking out of P31 OBS for me! Here’s this week’s copy for you:
Ok, enough from me- let’s get started!
Reflect and Respond:
In your P31 OBS journal, we encourage you to come up with “My 5 for My Guy” just like Nichole Stern did in today’s video. When we focus on what we like about our guys, it helps us become more grateful for them. For me, it also helped me thank God for these things about him. What’s “Your 5 for Your Guy” today?
I’d say we’re off to a great start! Make sure to read your Lowdown so you know exactly what to do.Nichole will be here with us in our next blog post with some encouragement and #TheHusbandProject study-helps!
See you then!
