Alright, ladies!
Time for another break!
I hope these rest days are helping you meditate on what we are learning in our study! I encourage you to keep them as a regular part of your Bible study routine, even after our Trustworthy study is over.
On Monday, we talked about trust being formed in relationship, and today we will reflect on this a little more. Author Lysa Terkeurst shares her personal experience with the connection between relationship and trust on Day 3 of our study. Below are a few prompts to use as we share what’s been stirring in our hearts this week. Choose one provided below, or share from the overflow of what’s been revealed through your reading.
- Relationships with people can cause our trust to be complicated. How has trust become complicated for you?
- How would you describe the difference between trust in relationships with people and trust in relationship with God?
- What does it look like in practical terms to live life with complete trust in the faithfulness of God?
As we close out today, I wanted to share my favorite piece of encouragement from Lysa, also from Day 3. “While our trust can be broken in relationship with people, our trust can be restored in relationship with God.” What a reason to rejoice!
