Amy Carroll

Amy Carroll’s passion is living the untied life. She loves to see women freed into the matchless pleasure of a deep relationship with God and others. For more than a decade, she has helped release women from perfection and isolation as they grasp the joy of living in God’s love.

Combining her background as a teacher with years of service in women’s ministry leadership, Amy currently teaches a multi-age Sunday school class for women. This fuels her belief that the inter-mingling of all ages and stages leads to greater spiritual maturity. She credits godly mentors, mission trips and volunteering for shaping her and constantly inspiring her to grow closer to Jesus.

In addition to writing devotions for Encouragement for Today, she is the author of Breaking Up with Perfect, is a contributing author for The Reason We Speak, the NIV Real-Life Devotional Bible for Women and the founder and director of Next Step Speaker Services, a coaching service for Christian speakers. Amy is also on the Speaker Team at Proverbs 31 Ministries.

She is married to Barry, the man she still loves madly after over 20 years. Their two sons, Anson and Nolan, keep life lively and full of laughter.
