You may have noticed the commenting system on Proverbs31.org has changed over the last few months. We want to tell you a little more about it!
We have switched our commenting system over to Disqus (pronounced “Discuss”). Disqus gives you more control over your posts and commenting history on our website while also providing increased opportunity to interact with other readers.
Creating a DISQUS Account:
If you’re new to our website or DISQUS and would like to comment, here’s a quick “how-to”:
- For those who don’t have a DISQUS account, signing up is easy. Click here to enter your information and sign up.
- Once you’ve completed Step 1 you’ll receive a confirmation message via email. This email could take a few minutes to arrive in your inbox so don’t worry if you don’t see it immediately.
- When you receive your validation email, open it and confirm your account.
- Once your account is confirmed, you’re all set! You can now comment in any discussion section on our website.
For an even quicker commenting avenue, sign up using your social media accounts on Facebook, Twitter or Google +. Comments by community members who have DISQUS accounts will display immediately within comment threads.
Commenting as a guest:
If you'd prefer to comment within our Proverbs 31 website as a guest, you can use the “I'd rather post as a guest” checkbox that appears at the bottom of the commenting form after you click in the “Name” field. Guest comments are moderated by Proverbs 31 Ministries, so when you comment as a guest, your comment will not display immediately within the conversation. If you do not see your guest comment immediately that does not mean it was lost, your comment will display after it has been approved by moderators.
Please note, you are NOT anonymous when you comment as a guest. Your name will still be displayed with your comment and visible to other readers.
We hope you’ll utilize our commenting features to build relationships with other women seeking God’s truth in their lives. If you’re having trouble signing up, validating or commenting, check out the links below.
