“Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people.” Luke 2:52 (NLT)
Heavenly Father, today we thank You for the men, both past and present, who have taken on the role of a father in our lives. For the sacrifices they make, for the ways they provide, for the wisdom they freely give. And for those of us whose hearts are hurting today because of missing loved ones, broken relationships, or unmet expectations, we pray You would remind us of who You are as our heavenly Father: always loving, always faithful, and always comforting. Our identity is found in You alone. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

“The Spirit told Philip, ‘Go to that chariot and stay near it.’” Acts 8:29 (NIV)
“Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.” Psalm 139:23 (NIV)
“Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, ‘My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will.’” Matthew 26:39 (NIV)
“The angel told him, ‘Get up and eat.’” 1 Kings 19:5c (CSB)
Heavenly Father, thank You for the redemptive power of Jesus that offers us salvation and empowers us to build Your Church. Please give me the ability to show humility and gentleness in all I do, bearing with others in love in order to point them to the ultimate love of Jesus. Thank You, Father, for the gift of the Holy Spirit, who enables me to live a life of holy boldness. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
